Quality does not stop at onboarding. We continuously monitor tutor performance through student reviews, attendance records, and lesson completion rates. Tutors who consistently fall below a 4.0-star average or exhibit patterns of cancellations may have their profiles paused for review.
We expect tutors to respond to booking requests and student messages within 4 hours during their stated availability window. Tutors who maintain an average response time under 2 hours earn the Fast Responder badge, giving learners additional confidence in timely communication.
Tutors are expected to honour all confirmed bookings. If a tutor must cancel, they should do so at least 24 hours in advance. Repeated late cancellations or no-shows result in a formal review and may lead to temporary or permanent removal from the platform.
Student safety is our highest priority. All tutors working with minors must pass an enhanced background check. Lessons involving students under 18 require parental consent on file. Our platform includes reporting tools so students and parents can flag any concerns, which are investigated within 24 hours by our trust and safety team.
