Professional Conduct
Whether you are teaching, learning, or managing your child's education, we expect professional behavior from all participants.
- Be punctual — Arrive on time for scheduled sessions and respect others' time
- Be prepared — Tutors should have lessons planned; students should come ready to engage
- Communicate proactively — If you need to cancel or reschedule, provide adequate notice
- Maintain boundaries — Keep all interactions educational and appropriate
- Honour commitments — Follow through on bookings, payments, and agreements
Content Standards
All content shared on the platform — including course materials, messages, profile information, and community posts — must adhere to the following standards:
Accuracy
Teaching materials and profile information must be truthful and accurate. Do not misrepresent qualifications or experience.
Originality
Share only content you have created or have permission to use. Respect intellectual property and copyright laws.
Appropriateness
All content must be suitable for an educational platform used by learners of all ages, including children.
No Spam
Do not post unsolicited promotions, repetitive messages, or irrelevant content. Keep interactions meaningful.
Communication Guidelines
Healthy communication is the foundation of effective learning. Follow these guidelines in all platform interactions:
- Use platform messaging — Keep all communications within the platform for your safety and records
- Protect privacy — Never share personal contact information, addresses, or financial details in messages
- Be clear and kind — Write messages that are easy to understand and considerate in tone
- Respond in a timely manner — Acknowledge messages within a reasonable timeframe
- Protect minors — Never request personal information from students under 18. All communication with minors should include parent awareness
Reporting Violations
If you witness or experience a violation of these guidelines, please report it. Your reports help us keep the community safe.

- For urgent safety concerns involving minors, contact us immediately
All reports are reviewed confidentially. You will never be penalised for making a good-faith report.
Consequences
Violations of these guidelines may result in the following actions, depending on severity:
Warning
A formal notice identifying the violation and requesting corrective action.
Temporary Suspension
Account access restricted for a defined period while the issue is reviewed.
Permanent Removal
For serious or repeated violations, accounts may be permanently removed from the platform.
Severe violations — including harassment of minors, fraud, or illegal activity — may result in immediate permanent removal and reporting to relevant authorities.
Updates
These guidelines may be updated from time to time to reflect the evolving needs of our community. We will notify members of significant changes via email and platform announcements.
