Understanding the Levels
Cambridge exams follow the CEFR framework: KET (A2), PET (B1), FCE (B2), CAE (C1), and CPE (C2). Each serves different purposes.
FCE: The Most Popular
B2 First (FCE) is the most widely taken exam. It proves you can function independently in English-speaking environments.
CAE: For Universities
C1 Advanced (CAE) is accepted by most UK and international universities for admission.
